About Me

It’s nice to meet you! My name is Danielle Galakatos Lindsley and I started on this journey of helping others five years ago when I realized that the things I had been through in my life were given to me so I could teach others how to regain/attain their happiness through spiritual and personal growth. My approach is a holistic one, addressing mind, body, and spirit with a focus on four words: Acceptance, Forgiveness, Gratitude, and Love.

After completing my bachelor of science in psychology, and my master’s of science in counseling in 2011, I was unsure of exactly what I wanted to do with all that knowledge. I was unhappy, unfulfilled, and lost. I didn’t know who I was or why anyone would even consider hiring me as a counselor. I was a mess and found myself thinking often, “This is not my life.”

And then I realized, if it wasn’t my life, whose was it? It was time for me to reclaim myself, my happiness, and my life. My first step in doing that was finding acceptance for where I was and what I was going through. The second step was forgiveness. For myself and those who had hurt me. Once I did that, I was able to find gratitude for my experiences – good and bad. Once the gratitude kicked in, the loved flowed out. For myself and for others.

I went through what I did to allow me to see just how much I have to offer to those who find themselves feeling as I did. That sense of discontentment and feeling that there must be something more to life is something that so many people are feeling. I can help you rid yourself of that by guiding you to find your best path to wholeness again.

The goal of this blog page is to share what I have learned along the way with any and all who need it. If you find the posts resonate with you and want to delve deeper, I invite you to contact me and we can set up a free, 30-minute call to see if we are a good match for coaching.

I offer one-on-one coaching (in person or on the phone) that is tailored to fit each client’s specific needs. Sessions are 50 minutes in length once a week or two times a month. Six months of coaching is the recommended length of time for each client to ensure that the lessons they must learn to find their happy are being addressed fully and completely integrated into their new way of living their lives.
